Outside the Pavilion, three elements were conceived and designed by individual artist-engineer teams: a fog sculpture covering the dome by Fujiko Nakaya, working with Tom Mee; Robert Breer’s Floats, moving sculptures whose mechanism was designed by John Ryde; and Frosty Myers’ Light Frame sculpture with xenon lights developed with Marlowe Pichel.
